I do not do tuning for turbos, superchargers, TUNING RESTRICTIONS: I do not do tuning to disable emissions-related

This will cover getting your full custom tune dialed-in and finalized, as well as any future tune re-adjustments for a period of 1 year.Īfter the 1-year period has passed, tune updates are just $75 (USD) and that would cover you for an additional 6 months. all played a role in who gained what.įor all of the custom tune work and multiple data log analysis that's performed, I ask for a reasonable fee of only $175 (USD). torque, and 0 to 3 mpg - above and beyond what the preset canned tunes give you. I have gained people anywhere from 12-39 hp, and 10-35 lb/ft. With the custom tune, I can tell you that you will definitely have a noticable performance difference/gain and improved driveability over and above the preset canned DiabloSport tunes that come on the programmers. Tough to say due to all of the variables in play - so there is no guarantee of any specific amount of hp/tq or mpg gains.

You could gain no MPG increase, or you could gain up to about a 3 mpg increase.

The same holds true for mileage gains - those variables, plus driving habits/style, how much highway vs.

Location/weather, fuel used, elevation/altitude, etc. Every vehicle is different, even if they're the same model, engine and have similar mods. With the custom tune, you'll gain even more HP/TQ, even better/quicker throttle response & acceleration, stronger/harder pull, smoother & quicker power delivery throughout the rpm's, better tranny performance/shifting, etc.īy providing me with real-world driving data logs throughout the tuning process, this ensures that the custom tune is tailored specifically for YOUR vehicle setup.Īs far as gains go, absolute HP/TQ gains are hard to predict. Using DiabloSport's CMR tuning software, I am able to customize parameters available throughout the entire tune file, and am not limited to just the preset parameters available to you via the hand-held inTune or Trinity interface itself. Afterall, your vehicle is as individual as you are. Need some help here, thanks.Thank you for your interest in a custom DiabLew Tune for your GM vehicle! My custom tuning is for GM vehicles running 87-89 or 91-93 octane gas (no E85/LPG, medium/large cams, forced induction).Ĭustom tunes are created specifically for YOUR vehicle, with adjustments made based on real-world driving data. I contacted the tuner and ask for a new file, they emailed me one, but they only changed ON/OFF temps under fan setting (which seems irrelevant to the issue) and he's insisting problem is not the tune. Truck has factory 3 wire pressure sensor on high side.

It just doesn't respond to A/C HP sensor signal, apparently it doesn't cut off compressor clutch either, as it continues to run ( I checked with manual A/C gauge and high side was like 550PSI before I turn it off ).Recirculation fitted is set to "Fan # 2", Type fitted is set to "serial cycling" and "platform type" is set to "H2"by the tuner (All tunes with Efans I checked this field is set to "GMT800"). On A/C request, compressor clutch activates like normal, HP sensor reads around 1.0V and starts to go up (close to 4V), condenser gets super hot, but no fan kicks on. Fans work flawlessly as the ect goes up, no problem. Hi, I also did e fan conversion on a 2003 truck (Hummer H2).

I also made small changes to Start-up Airflow Initial on the same page and Spark Start-up Flare Control as they seem to spring to life a bit more freely without the clutch fan drag.how can I download the patch file.? New member I signed in etc I just made a new "Fan Patch" file with the suggested airflow changes for fan electrical drag. I also made small changes to Start-up Airflow Initial on the same page and Spark Start-up Flare Control as they seem to spring to life a bit more freely without the clutch fan drag. The patch file did not originate with me but if I am passing them around they should have all that suits an e-fan retrofit. I suppose that I need to make these and a few other minor changes to the patch files before posting them anymore. I just added it to my tune and all of the clients' tunes that I have done this swap for.now to call them to stop by for a slight improvement. This helps a bit with the extra drag/bump from the alternator when the fans kick in. Under Engine>Idle>Airflow>Cooling fan airflow 2005 stock truck/suvs have 2.0 lb/h for Fan 1 and 4.4lb/h for Fan 2. One quick thing to add, after doing a few of these e-fans I noticed something that is NOT in the patch file I posted.that IS in a stock 2005 file.
